We invited renter of our ancestral home but after 3 years, the renter invited other people beyond our knowledge. One day, police came to our house in the city to conduct an investigation because our ancestral home was made by those illegal occupants A DRUG DEN. So they were jailed until this time.

We have 1 free room but that's intended for a guest. There are 8 rooms in our home 2 unoccupied my nieces are in UK working and said not to rent their vacant rooms. So there is nothing we can do. It's money already.

Yes free means they can be rented and if someone has specifically told us not to rent then we shouldn't and many people are not able to adjust with tenants so they don't entertain these thoughts.

I absolutely agree with you. Passive income through renting is wonderful. Of course, you must have some knowledge of real estate but you can always get professional advice if needed.
