Well, I really don't see it as too exaggerated because if you get a couple of videos to work you can reach those marks quickly.

Yes, I say it from my experience, in my case I uploaded 4 videos, one of them worked for me and I reached the threshold, but hey, you have to achieve it and that's the hard part.
When I used to have a blog, I earned nearly $300 from Google AdSense. Because I failed to renew my blog, I will no longer receive AdSense payments.
