Circumstances under which the producer can by-pass the wholesaler when distributing goods

This can happen when the producer do own retail outlets, when the producers are dealing with perishable goods like bread , when the producers deals with technical goods which require elaborate after sale services among other reasons

It might happen if the owner is so busy entertaining retailers. The customers must approach the store or establishment owner to avoid by- passing her or him.

I think the manufacturer can supply other wholesalers if there is no existing exclusive contracts with a client. I am sure they will not agree on this kind of agreement.

Is not suitable for the producer to bypass the wholesaler because it will affect the chain of distribution.
I've actually seen some greedy producers that will also retail their products to the final consumer which is a very bad destruction of the chain of production.

There is no need for wholesalers when it comes to perishable goods. The goods leave the factory straight to the retailer. That's because the time in the warehouse, the goods would spoil.

I think Small business ventures usually do this. They usually distribute their products directly to the retailers after producing it. But big business is always need distributors to make their business profitable
