There are many businesses out there that might be a part of chamber of commerce. As far as I know, the chamber of commerce simply refers to a kind of community that might consist of many businessmen or capitalists who might be associated with business. So, what is the actual meaning of a chamber of commerce?

Put it simply, Chamber of Commerce is an association or network of businesspeople created to promote and protect the interests of its members. Chambers of Commerce here are not government controlled.

I would simply put it as a setup that actually have to manage and control everything that has to do with trading in a country or anything that has to do with business.
