Will you stick to your parent's plan even if it's not what you want. I feel explaining things to them and make them see from your own point of view is the best thing, or what do you think?

When you go for the profession of your choice , it will increase your effectiveness and you will be more productive in that area of specialisation.
Do what you are passionate about will certainly increase your chance of success. Parents' role is to give advice but not to make decision for you. If your parents do not support your choice, try to explain to them your goal and your plan to achieve your goal.
I am lucky that my biological parents did not choose my major during my university days. They supported me all throughout until I finished my studies. I am so grateful that they did this for me and the rest of my siblings.
It is wrong for parents to try and influence the career choices of their children. It is right for parents to support the career choices of their children. Not to influence.
I don't like this idea at all parents need to like kids go for their career.
Without the support of the parents, it's possible to make the right choice for your career. This is because one should follow their abilities and interests in life. They must choose to do that interests them to do on life.
