Most companies need computers, and software to work and when there is some problem either with the software or hardware they need to get it sorted but these problems don't occur daily so if they like to save money and expenses they can opt to have some arrangements outside and not under salary and it will save a lot of money.

Yes it'll save cost and you can get the arrangements done outside so they'll be called as and when the problem occurs
A lot of companies outsource for providers for their digital services, like softwares, servers for the datas, as well as clouds to store their data. If the company wants to increase its efficiency, then going digital is a must.
Yes I thought as well. But this depends on the strategic situation of such company. You can not expect a security conscious company to engage the services of outsiders in storing its classified documents. It is risky.

It depends on how strategic is IT is to the company. If information technology is at the core of their business, it will be very risky. Institutions like banks, insurance, aviation, schools, financial institutions etc cannot because it is pivotal to their existence and success.

That's correct but if they are not capable enough and only taking higher salaries then better to replace them with outsourcing
Indeed, a lot of small businesses (not in IT business)here do not hire IT employees to do computer repair and maintenance. When a problem exist, they just call for help from people they trust to fix it.
It is not compulsory to oursource the IT department of a company , because it will be integral part of the business.
