Conflicts are inevitable in workplace. The manager has a key role to play in resolving the conflict. S(he) should find out the reason of the conflict, bring the involved parties together to talk, get them to calm down and identify a solution.

The first step to manage conflicts is to have a good business procedure and who will be in charge of what. A properly defined job state who will do that and who is responsibility for this.

Resolving conflicts is needed in every company. If it is not resolved, the productivity of these people will greatly affected. We need to consider this matter seriously. It is one of the responsibilities of the Human Resource Department.

I do not think you can completely avoid this though in an organization there would definitely be conflict, cause you are working with different people from different backgrounds. I think what would help would be for you to set down rules and regulations to tame your staffs.

There is always bound to be conflicts in a working environment but as long as there are rules and regulation that guide how workers behave in a company, it is always going to be resolved as quickly as possible.

Yes there will always be workplace conflict you just have to see how you can help resolve it amicably as the employer. Humans can't be together without some loggerhead in the place.

The best thing to do is to settle the rift amicably instead of allowing it to spread amongst the workers.

If I have a misunderstanding with a colleague, I would point out to him the points I am not happy with him. And the following day, I would hug him or her and we continue working as colleagues. No time to harbour grudges.
