Nigeria is regarded as country that allows all sorts of illegality. No one cares for the legality status of his trades so far he's able to bribe government officials. I went to Cotonou in Benin Republic and found out that if you are not qualified pharmacist, you are not eligible to open a medicine shops or pharmacy. But the situation is reverse here in Nigeria. Anybody who has his money can invest in medicine stores. It does not necessarily mean the person to be medical specialist. He could even be an unskilled personnel.

It is true, Nigeria is a country where all sort of things is possible. Once you have money, you can bribe your way out. Nothing is impossible in if you have money. Nigeria level of rascality is a thing of shame. That is the very reason we should change this government.

This business is very good. In my country, a license is definitely required in order to operate it.
There is always requirements before you are allowed to open a pharmaceutical store because it is something that have to do with people's life which is why all regulations are in place for you follow.

Yes, that's very correct and it's the same way it is over here. When you don't have the license to operate, they will lock your shop and charge you to court.
True, i stayed in benin Republic for some years, they only allow registered pharmacist to sell drugs, hence the cost of drugs are on the high side. Though at night there are some persons who sell drugs or hawk them but during the day you will never see them.
Anyone that is found guilty of doing this in my country will always be jailed in a very hard way because it is against the laws and regulation of pharmaceutical business.

I think it is not accepted in Nigeria. If you are doing it, you are hiding to do it and the authorities don't know. I for one know that there is many licensing you need to get before opening a medicine shop.
I don't think that there is a strict rules in Nigeria that govern people who are selling medicines.
