Management should foster a team working culture. Get up clear goals for a team; define roles and responsibilities of each team member; build trust within the team; organize team building activities; encourage frequent communication among team members and offer team rewards regularly.
Employees will only be work like a team if they will get the favourable environment, if the management treat them in a good manner when the management will give them bonuses on the time, when they will get motivated they will work at the team for the benefit of company.
The management can oftenly use it's professionalism and unifying the workers despite their differences in terms of ideologies, religion, race, language among other discrimination agents on the workplace. Team building is quite a nice strategy in achieving success.
The challenge in this team work is that some people are so good in blaming others and making them feel less important. They always want to take tte lead role in everything.
