I visit bakery at least once in a week because I am a foodie and like to buy biscuits, snacks, Pastries etc and on occasions we also buy cakes and they sell almost everything that I like to eat and drink so I think it's a very good business and we can also start with less investment.

The amount to spend on bakery business will depend on the size of the bakery you want to establish.
A commercial bakery is very expensive to set up. That's because you won't have to be operating manually. You would have to use machines in all aspects of production and that's expensive to set up.
I believe that it actually depends on the nature and size of the bakery business that you want to set up because over here in my country, there is a man that used 5 million naira to set up his own bakery.
The size play a major role in determining the amount that is necessary to start up the business. To start a medium size bakery, you may need around $2500 . There will be need for oven that is sound and functional. Middle size oven should cost around $1300 now.
I think it depends on your location. If it's populous then you need a bigger space but if not better have a small display space. You also need dividers or glass divisions for bread display,baker, and service staff. Most probably you need $ 5,000.
I also believe that whatever the person wants to bake will also determine the capital that is required to set up such bakery because if the person only wants to be baking meat pie, it wouldn't require much capital.
