if you know that you have the skills to post very interesting and valuable contents that will draw traffic to get your channel monetise like having 1000 subscribers at the shortest time you go ahead with it

I've never made money from YouTube, because at the moment I don't have sufficient skills to make videos, edit and so on so that they can become good content to watch. I am also an introvert who prefers to work behind the scenes.

Oh yeah, you can earn from advertising if you qualify for it. Then again, I have seen channels earn by uploading regular content, with the occasional sponsor being talked about in the video, based on how many views and subscribers the person has. It can be pretty good for those who know how to haggle for the sponsored 30 second rolls.

Youtube also offers a shop for those who have a large enough audience, where the person can make money off of selling clothing and kitchenware.

I have never made money on YouTube. A friend of mine has a YouTube channel. She is good at cooking. She uploads video to teach people how to cook different dishes from time to time. She has many viewers and is making some money.

Though i do not have a YouTube channel currently, nor do i plan to have one anytime soon, there are persons who are making good money from YouTube so it's very possible to make money from it.

I'm still pushing mine because I'm yet to Monetise my channel I still need more subscribers and watch hour time so hopefully I can monetise it soon to start making money

Its possible but the amount of competition does make it tougher as you need to stand out and only then you can expect better earnings

Monetizing YouTube channel is not very easy as you have to have 1000 subscriber and 4000 watch hour and time duration to complete this is one year so it remains very difficult and required too much high level of dedicated hard work.

One bad thing about YouTube requirements apart from reaching 4000 hours watch is that all the requirements must be reached in 6 months of opening the channel. So after that then the channel can not monetize
