If you know you are qualified, step into your boss's office and brace the subject with him. If lf the boss doesn't agree, tell him you would leave within a definite time if you don't get it. Be sure you are absolutely qualified.

We can write a letter to the head to get promoted and the requirements to submit. Or, we can do face-to-face with the boss if you have the guts. It is our right to be promoted.

Some organizations don't even have parameters for promotions. The work is just freestyle like that. In such organizations, you have to work up to the owner and ask for promotion so your pay can be increased.

Nothing wrong with asking for your promotiom If it's a promotion that is given to everyone, you can politely ask for it. They have to be reminded if you are qualified for it

Promotion will only be granted. You cannot really ask for it because it will be granted based on the level of activities you have contributed to the company.
Yes, I totally agree with you. As far as I know promotions are only given by superiors to subordinates who have satisfactory work performance. So, work well, that you may earn a good reputation. At least the boss won't fire you because you are a good worker, and he will make you an offer either a raise or a promotion.

I think an employee have right to ask for promotion if he sensed that he deserve it. The best way to ask for promotion is to put in writing and also state categorically the reason you deserve promotion. This approach work in developed countries where there is availability of jobs. In developing countries, that request may even result in receiving a sack letter.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Promotion in some workplace comes at a specific schedule and if one don't get it, what do you think it is the right way to approach the HR or the employer asking for the due promotion?

I don't think it is the right thing for you to do when it comes to asking for a promotion at your workplace because I believe that the company has a structure with which they promote their workers.
