The main reason is that they are not aware about the phishing that scammers do virtually. That is why young ones need to teach the elders about it.

I think it is due to the lack of financial education they have or the desperation to get quick money due to their situation, either of the two is fatal and you are probably a possible victim of possible scams.

People get scammed more online nowadays simply because they do not carry out proper research of the market that they want to enter into . Conducting proper research is essential.

People are become more desperate to make money these days maybe due to economic pressure. Thereby leaping without thinking. It is very disturbing that already desperate people are scammed and dumped, thereby putting them in suicidal situations.

Greed is one of the biggest challenges that makes a lot of people to get into the pocket of scammers online because it is their greed that makes them not to be realistic in what they have been told.
