Is it right to employ two closely related persons in the same organization?

I don't think it is right to have two closely related persons working in the same organization. It makes staff harder to manage as you would always have a multiplier effect of an action taken on one person affect the other.

If two sisters are working for me, and something happens and I punish one of the sisters, it is going to affect the other sister too.

I don't recommend it's a good practice. We have that as policy in our organization. It's also giving others opportunities and not confined to one family clan only especially in our case where political accommodation is the game.

In my country, it is not allowed to employ two persons who are related to each other in a company. They are preventing the possible personal interest that may happen in the future.

My first thought is that it is not a very good idea for you to employ such people to work for you but if you think that they have what it takes to deliver and then you should employ them.

I think it depends on the persons though. It has its advantage and as well disadvantages. Two people who are closely related it would be a lot easier for them to work together, on the other hand it could also cause issues for the business owner.

Whatever the supposed benefits would be, the cons outweighs it. When two family members work for you, you would understand that injury to one is injury to all.

It is a normal thing. Let us be realistic about is. As long as they are capable of following the rules and regulations, it means that they can work for you

It is not about executing their assignments. It is about making sure that they don't partner to do something that could harm your business. It is easier and natural for relatives to plan and execute a bad thing thab total strangers.

I don't see anything wrong in employing two relations in a company or organization once they deserved it through their qualifications and experience. There are some family that have impeccable character and will out perform others in business.

The angle the original poster was coming from was the angle where one relative is bittered maybe because you disciplined the other relative. From that point of view, it doesn't make sense to employ two relatives.

I won't employ two closely related persons to work for me. It would be hard to control them both. Things that happen in the office would be easily escalated outside the office settings.
