Is it important to hold a charity event within the company?

I heard that many companies often hold charity events together, such as blood donors, sharing food and money for underprivileged people, etc.

I see it as something very good, it will enhance the good reputation of the company in the eyes of the general public. So that people feel a lot of benefits from the existence of these businesses there. What di you think?

There are many popular people like Bill Gates who have their own charity organisations. The fact of the matter remains that many companies have their own charity organisations and they look for many donors who could support.

Yes it is important but not necessarily. As a business owner, if you cannot do this then simply look for other ways you can give back to the community .

Here it is usually still in the form of cooperation, such as blood donors working with the PMI organization (Indonesian Red Cross), for charity they also work with charities, etc. Few have their own charity company.

Some companies in my location also organize such kind of charity events. Employees are encouraged to participate in voluntary programs. Other than contributing to the community, these events help to promote the reputation of the company.

It is still a part of social responsibility. There is nothing wrong if charity event will be done within the company. I do hope that every company will do this.

It's true that I agree with you, when there are natural disasters such as volcanic eruptions, landslides, floods, etc. There are volunteers from the company who participate to help and give charity, this will indirectly increase the company's good reputation.

In my country, it is an obligation of the companies to do this. Although some do not do this because they do not want to bring back the blessings to their communities.

It is a very good one but people need to learn that this is not a must so that they will not go bankrupt all in the name of providing a charity organisation in the company

Definitely, it is a very welcome idea, to hold a charitable event once in a while, it means giving back to the society, no Matter how little or small it maybe, the most important thing is that people's lives are being touched and they feel the impact.

A company can do charitable gestures within the limits available to it. A hospital can do a free diagnostic service for just a single day. That would not make them broke. The money that would indirectly come from building a positive image with that gesture is not comparable with the cost.

This is some type of ad for company. They probably get some tax return. This is actually combination. Donate food for tax deduction and some workers share it to get free ad for company.
