I think it depends what kind of jobs. The monitoring can be checked through their outputs and not the job itself. If the company cannot monitor them accurately, it is better to find ways to do it.

This is a very valid point when remote working is concerned. I think to solve this issue the organization leaders, such as the team managers should organize virtual meetings, for example, on zoom - to connect with the whole team and get updated about the work status of the remote team.

That hinders communication which is very important in management. Another issue could be that the workers are not supervised directly and so they might relax in doing work. That is where you find issues such as late submission of work and others don't attend important meetings..

It is truly hard because I believe that a person can only monitor the people who he is seeing physically. It may be very hard to control other people who are working from their various homes.

i believe before embarking in jobs like this and having teams in place, the first necessities should be establishing good communication system as this has a large role it plays in the success of managing a remote team
