Setting standards involve many things. this also involves making high-quality products and offering warranty for those products so that the customer could trust you and trust your products as well. This is also what standard means.
I think the setting of the business standards may aid the business operations in the real time. This is because everything could be in the required standards and it leads the business to be successful in building it's reputation.
When your business has a standard, potential customers would get to know what to expect from you. And if your standards in high, people that desire quality would always gather to patronize you.
