I am running a business where I am selling used clothes. I acquire used clothes in bulk quantity from Alibaba and then retail sell the products from Facebook Marketplace and home grown eCommerce marketplace. Usually, I spend about 70 cents for one clothing item and spend $1 on shipping, I sell this piece for at least $5. I have a very high margin but sales are small.

There is an open market of used products and used clothes in my city. The fact of the matter remains that they sell those kinds of clothes at cheaper rates. However, I prefer buying new clothes.
We call it thrift business over here in my country and a lot of people are actually into it and by the looks of it they are making good profit from it. They sell it on different social media platforms.
Selling of clothing is a very good business especially as it is the sale of used clothes but I also love the fact that you do make use of Facebook to make your sales and it is something that you acquired for a less fee and sell at a good price.
I usually donate old clothes to charity. There are a few shops here which sell used clothing and accessories. Shops which sell second hand luxury brand clothing, bags make a lot of profit. There are people who love to wear luxury brand clothes but cannot afford to buy new ones.
In my opinion, selling used clothes is not a problem, as long as they are of good quality and the models are not out of date. The trouble is, we can't choose because the purchase is in bulk quantity, so we have to sort every item that is fit for sale.
The used clothing business is currently very popular here. Especially for imported clothes. So, I think this business is very profitable. But I'm not interested in running this business, because I don't understand fashion trends.
I had done this but faced too much problems in it, first I remember I sort out my new used clothes and took it to sell in direct a cloth shop, I was too young on that time. When I shown my clothes to shop keeper his tone suddenly changed as to immediately take out your clothes and move away from my shop, if any of my customer will see he will think I sell used clothes. From that time I never tried to do this.
It is a very good business from my experience because as long as you have high quality clothes that have already been used you will still have a chance of selling them at a very good price.
Selling used clothes is a very lucrative business to engage in, especially here in my country, because many people see it as a cheap means of getting costumes and if you're lucky to get really good ones to sell, surely people will patronize you in their numbers.

it also helps a lot of people out as well who may not have a lot of money to be able to spend on clothing which is especially at the moment, very much needed for many.
I never thought about doing this but it is something I will consider now with used clothes that I and my kids have that could be sold for a small price.

Selling used cloth is a good business, especially here in my place where people want cheap things. People will surely patronize you in their numbers once you know your way around the business
