A famous pundit once stated that agriculture is going to make the next billionaires. This remark is well-founded because every living human on earth depends on agriculture for nourishment. If an entrepreneur targets only a small portion of the human global population, he/she would aid in feeding the world, and earn huge monetary returns in exchange. The beauty of this arrangement is that the businessperson would be assured of sustained demand for the agricultural products he/she produces.
Hence comes my question: what agribusiness ideas do you have? Kindly share on whether you have implemented the same and why?

Very nice business here in africa.
Especially as a local trader. Nigeria is a consuming country which go as far as importing unnecessary consumable goods.
I feel like the business would have a lot of profit

One viable Agri business idea is rearing of snails. This business is very low when it comes to cost of production but with a high market price and demand for the snails.

Currently, I'm invested in fish farming and poultry farming. It's something that I have been doing for 5 years now. My farm have been paying me well since then.

As long as people eat there will always be demand for agricultural products. One business idea that a farmer should have is market the product himself rather than depending on traders who makes the most profit. One issue that a farmer face is when the prices.gomdown and there's an over supply. He can addressed it by processing the produce like making squash jam if there's an over production of squash and the prices go down. He can make tomato sauces and preserve them. For fish he can process into sardines or dried fish.

Those kind of ventures are very well paying ventures. I have interests in these businesses. I have bought a 3000 liters pond but the price of fish feeds keep scaring me away. I am just waiting to build financial muscle before I start.

Maybe you can make your own feeds by gathering vegetables and mix eith powdered grains

I don't have the knowledge to do this. Like which kind of vegetables would I start mixing and in what ration? I think to do this business z one would require to go for training on these concepts.

Yes you can ask for technical assistance from your government, they provide it for free. Some vegetables like Chinese kangkong or spinach can be used. You can just throw it on the pond.

With this ongoing worldwide inflation, the agri bussiness is something that people must think of reverting in to it. The cost of production is usually very low in my country and one can easily get through with it.

I think wheat farming is highly profitable , but i haven't tried it out ,but will do soon.This business idea that can be started on a small scale. Its produce, such as wheat flour, bread, and biscuits, can be sold to nearby markets or retail shops for a great income.

This is absolutely correct, definitely agriculture or agriculture will surely produce the next set of billionaires, because as humans we all need food to function very well in all we do, some agribusiness I have in mind is cultivation of plantain in large scale, and also fruits and export them to other nations.

If I have the chance to change my major in university, I will choose agriculture courses. In my country, most farmers usually get rich because of the agriculture-related businesses. I am sure some people can relate to this matter.

And to think that my country still imports major food items while tye youths are sleeping on the agricultural sector. This is one area I want to invest because I know how much I spend on buying cucumber alone for my mom everyday.

Agribusiness is becoming more profitable this days. It is no longer occupation of the primitive farmers but more professionals and businessmen are investing in it. Agrobusiness has different sections like farming section and animal rearing section. You can choose either of these or combine both as you can afford.
