Their goal is to make sure their kids learn the importance of making money and how to be independent at an early age. I am convinced that children need to learn the basics of business as early as possible. Such awareness could come in handy in multiple areas of a child's life.

I have already started teaching my 6 year old cousin business. I do this by telling him to wash plates for me and I give him a small monetary tip. The goal is to instill into her subconscious that to get money, she must offer value.
Teaching your kids how to do business is a very important thing that you must try to imbibe in them . Training them from scratch is very important because it become part and parcel of them.
We are lacking behind in this aspect in the present generation in Africa. In the past, our fore fathers used to compelled their children to assist them in their respective vocations with the sole aim of teaching them. Such vocations later out to be inheritance at the eventual passage of the parents.
You may try teaching them in a way they won't think of dropping out of school, there is no correlation between the two, going to school is a thing on its own just like business , some even study business in schools.
If you teach them that education would help them to develop themselves to be able to make the money, they won't drop out of school for anything. We should not make the mistakes our parents made.
I believe that every child should be made to understand the dynamics of money. It would help sharpen their decision making abilities. Don't deny a child financial education.
