Causes of unethical conducts in a business environment

First of all, unethical conducts could be described as displaying certain behaviors that goes against what others would see as normal or in some cases morally right. In most business environment some of such behaviors can be found, what do you think might be the cause for this?
Personally i feel this might be as a result of the management not putting much emphasis on the rules and regulations of the company or organization.

There is a saying that , where there is no law then there is no crime , if proper rules and regulations are not given then it could lead to unethical conduct since they will all claim they aren't aware it's a crime.

It is very easy for us to blame all sort of factors for unethical behaviors of staff. But I believe that a person who is not disciplined is not, no matter the other reasons that would be cited.

Greed is a major factor that sponsors people to behave immorally in the workplace. They would want clients to oil their palms before they process a proposal or transaction for the client. Pure greed.

I think greed is the main reason for unethical behavior in business. Some employees steal secrets of the company s(he) works for to earn money. Some make fake products and sell them in the black market.

Well, this is also true, some workers are like that , just because they are working with the company and are already used to the system may want to use other means to exploit customers before attending to them or attending to them quickly than any other person.

In my opinion, the cause of the unethical behavior of the staff in the company is because there are no clear rules that they must obey, if someone violates them, strict action must be taken as a result of violating the rules. So that this can be a valuable lesson for other employees so that they do not violate existing regulations.

Greed is something that is not good in any business and also enjoy your life because it is going to put you up into doing a lot of things that you are not even supposed to do under normal circumstances.
