Why business must not be mingle with politics

Even tbough business has relative relationship with politics, it must not get itself actively in it. We all know good policy thrives good business enabling environment and this is main reason why all business owners are concerned of who is ruling the government.
Nevertheless, involvement of businesses have caused many waterloo to some businessess to the extent they were victimized because of their relationship with the opposition parties or former governments. Many businessess were even closed down because of the allegation of being used as a conduits to loot out government moneys.

Politics is business. What you talk about in last line looks like some companys took goverment support in money and spend on some other things or start talk bad about goverment.

Business must not mingle with politics and a business person must not actively be at the back of a politician except the person is a good person and also who the people wants, this may affect a business since others views might be different and they might use that against such person.

It may result to malicious situations and greedines of having a huge amount of money. It can lead to graft and corruptions. It is a fact that can not be denied.

In my opinion, business should not mix with politics because if our political choices are not the same as that of customers, customers will be reluctant to shop at our company. Political choices should be sufficiently secret and should not be known by anyone.

In my country, some politicians hire people to have the payments in illegal businesses. It is a fact that cannot be denied. They do this to earn more than they wanted.

Everything is handled with wisdom. Even active politicians that are business people don't bring their business to politics. The participation of business in politics should be subtle. The current president of my country owns a media house and during the electioneering campaign, they demonstrated neutrality and allowed other candidates to feature even though they must have been supporting their owner.

As long as they are transparent in what they do in politics or in their businesses, then it is fine. If they are trying to conceal certain things, then it will lead to malicious acts of doing illegal acts.

Any competent business person must understand the benefit of not dabbling in politics. I am thinking of taking sides in political contests. It would be extremely risky for a business to support any faction in a political duel. Maintaining political neutrality would ensure that none of the contesting parties feels offended.

Even though business shouldn't mix with politics, the best stance any business owner(s) can take is to accept that they will mingle. Government will always interfere in business in one way or another and knowing how to actually make things to favour you will be the wiser option.

This is right on point. Businesses have to position themselves to benefit from a particular government. Take it or leave it, any rich and successful business person you see today had one help or the other from government no matter how little it might be.

I agree that business people should not mingle with politics. But they should maintain good relationship with government officials. The CEOs of many large corporations are invited to meetings with high level government officials. They exchange opinions on the economy and how government policies may affect their investment strategy.
