Business of hunting for treasure in sunken water vessels

I recently watched a news report indicating that some American citizens are actively engaged in the business of hunting for treasure in sunken ships. After spending a considerable amount of money and time, a group of men gained instantaneous wealth after they located a vessel that sunk about 200 years ago and took possession of the immense treasure that this vessel was transporting.
I understand this trend is becoming popular in other parts of the world such as Europe.

What do you think about this business?

I don't really know much about this though, like who pays them? I believe this is mostly done as a hobby or in most cases they usually have sponsors who give them what they need for their adventures.

It will be a great business idea, but you need the right equipment and possibly, the license to carry out such activities from the authorities depending on the location.

Can one do this as a daily job? I doubt this is a sustainable job but all the same provided money is made via it I don't see anything unusual about it
