Why are people buying Pi Coins?

So I am seeing a lot of people online posting offers to buy pi coin. I am confused as to why there is a rush for this Pi Coin. What could be the cause of it. Is it the next big thing in cryptocurrency?

Same here, the thing is actually getting me confused, because I see a whole lot of people asking for where and price of pi coin almost onna daily basis, I think there is something currently special about the coin that makes people keep buying it.

I am not aware of any news related to people buying Pi coin. They are perhaps buying Pi coin in the hope that the coin will soon be listed on exchanges and they can make a huge profit.

I think it is just the usual way of people buying coins to hold and believing they can sell them higher in the future. it is to find out how viable this coin will be.

It's very common here in Nigeria that some people are purchasing those coins. Some claim it's will be the next big thing that will run like Bitcoin, and after fading doge and other Shitcoins, I would just mine Pi since it costs me nothing

I didn't hear about pi coins, may be I don't take interest in crptocurrencies. It maybe getting popular in a hope that it's rate will increase in the future like it happened with BTC in the past.

The pi coin is gradually gaining some sort of popularity recently, lately I have been seeing people asking for who or where to purchase the pi coin,

Where can it be purchased? Have you bought it? We have to pay taxes to transfer money earned through crypto so I don't like buying them or don't take payments through it.

Those who buy it believe it has value and want to accumulate more of it.

I don't know why it can be honestly, although I have seen this in another forum as well, I used the pi network platform to mine about 2 years ago, but I abandoned it.

I think there is a higher probability for the coin to gain more and more in the near future. I however not convinced to decide on making some investments for that matter.

I really can not tell you the reason why people buy the Pi coin at this moment yet but I believe if the top guys are buying it then there is something huge coming out of it that we do not know.

It is a common occurrence to see people offering fiat for pi coin recently. And it seems it can be conveniently mined with a mobile phone. But I am not still convinced about the pi hype.

Since its launch I have not been interested in Pi coin, which is mined via mobile, with the Pi network. I think Pi coin became big because of the IOU, and the community of miners which is almost spread all over the world. I am worried whether the big crypto exchanges will accept Pi coin. Since its launch in 2019 until now it is still in pre-release mode.

I have also come across so many people buying pi as well, i don't think it has any real value at the moment. Maybe they are buying it so they can have a lot once the things settles down.

I guess it is because people feel it will be listed very soon and the price will be very high so they want to keep as much as possible I feel they can just continue to mine instead of buying

It has been available for so long and if I am not mistaken, it should be over two or three years now. The fact that they have not listed it is tiring and annoying. I am no longer mining it though
