Ingenious advertising?

Certain eateries and cafes in my city have implemented an unusual advertising strategy. These businesses have hired staff members whose role is to advertise their offerings alongside the street. While some of these advertisers approach individual passersby and persuade them to get in and buy offered products, others ring a bell and announce these offerings.

What do you think?
Is such marketing scheme ingenious?

I would say that the reason why they are making use of this strategy of advertising is because whatever they are selling is appealing to those that are living within the location of the business and that is the best way for them to reach them.

Well, I can find many such kind of companies advertising the products outside supermarkets and stores. Perhaps they have paid some amount of money to the business owner in order to carry out proper marketing program outside the business.

Yes most companies tend to do this, especially if they are trying to attract a target audience outside the internet. They are usually freelancers who they hire to do this job most times. Not all of them are actually their staffs.

Yes I have noticed this method of advertising in my location. I think it is an effective advertising strategy, as I have been forced to buy products through this kind of promotion

That is what we truly call aggressive marketing. They don't want to leave anything to chance. As far as they are concerned, every passer by is a potential customer. And I am sure it works for them.

For me there is a way I see that that kind of marketing is never profitable nor lucrative in my country. The reason being that only the person on the streets hear and see about the products being advertised.

In my country, they would hire disc jockeys and dancers to play and dance just outside the business premises non stop for a business day. That would surely attract the attention of any passer by to ask questions. It is often used when doing a promo.

Running a business is all about getting your customers to patronize your product and services which is why companies use this kind of strategies to target the customers that the business are meant for for them to patronize it.
