I think Amazon Kindle Publishing provides one of the best, low entry level platform for new writers. Keyword research and decent writing skills can help one make some sweet cash there.

Someone told me to begin to write on medium a few years back but I did not really take it seriously. I will try it one of these days when I have the time but I don't know how it works.

The only website that I use to make passive income as a writer is Amazon Kindle Publishing. It is a very good place to self publish and make passive Income after a long while since you punished the book

Some of the website writers can make passive income are Amazon Kindle Direct publishing, Smashwords, Lulu. Although i'm not a writer and i have not made use of any of these websites, i've had a lot of good things about them.

Some of the websites offering passive income are disabling the account of some writers without giving any legally valid reason, so writing for these websites is a waste of time, they also have a high payout.

These are great options to be able to earn a passive income. I myself have been looking at places such as HUbpages and also Medium to write and possibly earn a passive income.

I am also working on my own blog at the moment and getting as much content published as I can so in time, possibly earning a passive income from that. It will take time but when I start to see results, it will be worth it.

Quora is one of the websites that provide writers with the opportunity of earning passible income.
I am however not yet sure about the criteria that Quora uses to pay people who submit posts or content.
