How is the drainage system in your country?

In Ukraine, the drainage system includes various components and structures for the drainage of storm and surface water. The main elements of the drainage system include sewer drains, drainage wells, ditches, drainage channels and sewage collection and processing systems. The drainage system in Ukraine is important for preserving water resources, preventing floods, and ensuring public safety and hygiene.
The drainage system in my city is okay. We may have flooding in some areas if there is heavy rain or typhoon for many hours. But overall speaking, the drainage system here has improved a lot over the past ten years.
The drainage system in my country is handled by the states. And I have to say the drainage systems in my own state is quite excellent. No matter how heavy the rain is, within an hour, everywhere would be dry.
In my countryside, some of drainage systems are not that good. I might say that it is mostly common to have flooding in big cities in lowland areas.
The drainage system where I currently live is not efficient, leading to flooding during strong typhoons. I have noticed that even light rain causes flooding outside the apartment.
