Assuming that you are a keen businessman gifted, smart, and adventurous, the next thing to do when you sense your business getting low sales is to recall your research title vis a vis with the statements of the problem. Assuming your research title would be this: " FACTORS THAT AFFECT THE LOW SALES OF MY BUSINESS", and already had 3 statements of the problem, all you have to do is think of the possible variables of your business.

Yes this is very correct because the survey is going to help you to generate enough data that is going to be used in correcting what is making your business not to sell well.

Apart from the advertisement, you need to focus on the product too. It may be that you are not producing it very well and the people are not satisfied with how you are producing them
