This is a magazine and it operates almost 1 century. Just open it and find out their poetry contest of still available. Other sites resume accepting after the Fall. I joined a poetry contest to 4 sites one is Poetry Nation.

There are numerous online and print magazines that pay really good for poems and short stories, however, the main problem is getting accepted. They are very selective. You need to be exceptionally good.

They receive a lot of submissions, so your work might never come to their attention. Even if they managed to read your submission, you might not be accepted as they are looking for highly accomplished writer.

This is one thing that discourages me because I always have that feeling that they may not even have the time to read my work so it is always discouraging and that is why I don't take part of contests

I joined the international poetry contest to 4 magazines and fortunately they accepted my entries. The result will be 6 months from now. There are so many entries almost 10, 000.

You join on this site, submission payment is $50. We can submit 5 for the first submission. It is a legit site and on August 7, there is a Zoom meeting with the site operators on what to do and to know each other better. You apply to be part of their company. There are many from Nigeria. The payment could be through PayPal or direct to bank.
