I know so many people who own a smart watch but I do not own one myself yet.

My mum has a smartwatch and she uses it all the time and could not live without it. I am going to have to look for one myself that is affordable so that I don't have to keep my phone out all the time.

I do not have a smartwatch for making phone calls, I am using an app on my smartphone for tracking the steps I take.

Yes, I have one. It monitors my steps and heart rate, and it alerts me when my heart rate is elevated.
