Do you prefer A soap or Bath gel/ Shower gel for the bath?

Well, when I wash myself taking a shower, since I don't have a bathtub at home, which would certainly be more relaxing, it makes no difference what type of soap or shower gel I use. Basically, both are fine.
Maybe I would do the same thing if I had a bathtub, hence washing myself comfortably with bath soap.
But forgive me, are you a man or a woman? I'm sorry if my question may seem intrusive.

I use both but prefer body wash shower gel I love all the different scents you can get.
I use a shampoo for my hair but see that it has aloe vera in it. Aloe vera keeps the hair moist. For the body I use soap. My choice is Yardley.
I seldom have bath. I just take a shower. I prefer to use liquid soap or shower gel for my shower. In fact, most of the shops here sell shower gel instead of soap.
