I am noticing and experiencing this for a long time now as many websites have either suspended its pay to post operations or paying less than 50% of its original rewards or delaying payments and the reason could be a global slowdown which is affecting the people all over the world and they are unable to earn because of this slowdown.

I do not know about PTP sites because I only post on RIF and SpeakChat Forum. Unfortunately, RIF has delayed payment for quite a while. As the SpeakChat Forum, since they pay on a monthly basis, I'm not sure if I would get paid yet. But for surveys sites, there are still some surveys available for me to work on.
There are many reasons why it is getting harder to earn online. Competition is stiffer these days as more people discover the beauty of working online. In addition, most employers are looking for employees who have the most up-to-date skill set.

I remember when I started applying for Google ads on my website then I just applied by submitting only one average website and it approved and I started earning but nowadays what hinderences which one get. This is due to tough competition and changed policies of the websites.

It is true that a lot of online jobs are getting very competitive, for instance, it is difficult to get a decent paying contract on Fiverr, however, I believe there are more opportunities for earning currently compared to what it was like 5-10 years ago.

Ginger you should not rely only on paid to post websites to earn money, you need to do other earning activities like promote your gig on picoworkers or jobboy or even on upwork or fiverr or do some forex staff to have income all the year.
People want to not make an effort for example AI generated content or plagiarized or use Quillbot and then be required to get paid in cryptocurrency which lets them lower the reward to avoid someone reaching 5 $ fast and then needing to verify if he merits a reward or not.
The online advertising rates have reduced to a great extent, they are more than 100 times lower than what they were a decade ago, so website owners find it difficult to pay members. In all other sectors, advertising rates have increased or at least remained the same.
I think Site owners do not earn much to be able to pass it on to users who have an account with them
