Job rotation is all about members of staff to be rotated in other job roles in a company. it is to moved workers through different jobs within the organisation. You know that this will help the company acquired high level of productivity which the end result would be the success of the business. So what are the reasons why this should be practice in business


To aid workers acquire a range of skills from each department

So that different workere will fit into a certain job role.

A job role wouldn't be vacant even if the main worker of such position is absent. it would be swiftly filled by another staff.

The business will still be in progress with or without some workers as those available can continue with the business.

While it is good to rotate your staff, I still believe in specialization. You might end up creating utility staff with no deep specialty in anything. And also, it's not every positions in an organization that you should rotate so that you wouldn't compromise your business.

That's right, I agree with you. Apart from that, rotating employee roles in the company can also minimize fraud. But before rotating employees, we must pay attention to whether the employee is capable of carrying out the tasks at hand, so that it does not disrupt the smooth operation of the company.

In a situation where there is no rotation, it could lead to burnouts. When a particular person tends to do one thing everything, without proper rest could lead to burnouts. It could also lead to boredom.

Very true, while this might also lead to the person becoming very good in this particular thing, it might also cause lost of interest or boredom in this area.

I have contrast views. I believe staff should be placed on the jobthat they are best at instead of rotating jobs. I do not see any point in placing some in marketing tasks who is good with accounts
