Can you run two businesses at the same time?

Is it possible to actually run two different business at the same time? Personally i think it is possible but it can only work when at least one of the business has grown to a certain level when it can function even without you being completely involved in it. Running two different business at the early stage can be very risky and might lead to you loosing both most times.

It depends on how efficient the business owner is, and whether he can find suitable staff. An ex-colleague of mine had a full time job in a reputed company and also owned multiple businesses.

I can effectively run two businesses very effectively. That's what the economy needs for now. And most people are doing now.
