I came across some YouTube video that talks about how you can start selling ebooks and i realized all of them tends to say things like make ten dollars daily selling ebooks, another was make five dollars every five minutes selling ebooks. Is the sales of ebooks really that lucrative?

Hahaha, don't mind them, they tend to put things like this to make you click on their videos. It's very annoying honestly. A lot of people have gone into things they would not have gone into if they knew how it would be like.
There is even no guarantee that you would make money everyday from selling e books. It is more of a passive income thing.
There is no way that you would even be able to sell e books everyday. No way.
Selling of ebooks is just a passive income stream and can't be expected to generate funds too regularly like daily.
I am not sure because of the intense competition. However, if you promote your ebooks effectively, you might be able to attain good sales.
