As we all know, recently there have been an increase in the price of things. Business owners and entrepreneurs now have to spend double what they normally do just to buy the materials needed to carry on with their business. Even with these changes, customers still tend to argue for a reduce in price. This can be very frustrating for most business owners. How do you handle these kind of customers?

You have to understand that it is the default position of customers to always ask for a decrease. I carefully explain to them why the product is priced the way it is and the reasonable ones understand.

It's happened to all the business if you like it or not your customer will ask you to decrease the price of the item,but it's going to affect your business if you do just that so you need to explain to them why the product is sold at that price

Obviously customers must always ask for a decrease in the price of goods so it's advisable to consider them at times (if necessary) just to maintain and avoid storing same goods for a long time.

AS a customer i will ask for a discount no matter how much the price of the good is low or radiused, this is a human nature and always we ask the shop and store to reduce their price for the things we want to buy, but if i am on the place of the owner of the shop i will have some fixed price and they will not ask for price reductions.

The thing is that customers will always ask for a decrease. A lot of times they have less than the money needed to buy a thing. So you need to explain to them the reason for this.

In most cases the customers are kind of people that demand cheaper prices always. Although the customers are always right, but the businessmen should be very vigilant on the pricing.

This is a nature of customer. When you are a seller, you do not want to decrease your price but when you go somewhere as a buyer, you always want the seller to decrease the price

The best way to deal with this one is to avail a polite notice to the increased prices and stress on the placing of price tags on the products for fixed prices basis.

Being a customer when I go for shopping I also ask for decrease. As when shopkeeper say to me that price of that particular commodity is $100 then I say to him that, I can purchase this item on $90. Being a businessman these situations remain very difficult and we need to be very careful.

Being a businessman, it is difficult to handle such situations where customers negotiate for a decrease in price. It's natural for customers to seek the best deal possible.

We just need to explain the situation of the market to customers too to enable them understand the problems business owners faces too and thus won't make them think otherwise , or else one will just lose customer just because he can't relate well with them.

This is normal but some customers don’t know how to ask for it in a polite way. Some of these customers will even force you to decrease the price of the goods and when you don’t, you’d be looking like a bad person

Yes this is the major issue, most of them make it look like it's their right for the price to be decreased, while in other cases some of them would act like you are lying to them about the price.
