Here in my place, most companies just offer paid leave as stated in the employment contract. In most cases, for staff working at junior level, they get pay for overtime work. For senior staff, they may get time-off.

When I was running a business, I gave 12 days of annual leave for my staff. This was a paid leave. If took a leave of more, I would start cutting their salary
