Monday is the first working day for the week, and for most persons, it is usually the hardest. Most business owners find it hard to carry out their activities or resume on Monday morning. For me they have not adjusted back to working after spending, for others they just find it tiresome to go through all the morning stress.

Yes it's usually different for most persons though. Like over here I have noticed that things are pretty slow on Mondays. Even for students they find it reluctant to go to school.
Yes, some business owners feel this way. They still don't want to go to work or start Monday morning because they want to relax at home. LOL, but others are constantly motivated to work.
Your observation might be possible. Perhaps people still like to sleep or spend extra day to bond with family. There are businesses in my place work from Monday to Thursday only but dismissal time at 6 in the evening.
I agree that Monday morning is the hardest time in a lot of cases. Because after relaxing over the weekend, on Monday, which is the first working day of the week, you need time to warm up and get back to working mood.
I don't know why people adjudge Monday to be a tough business day. It is just the beginning of a new business week.
Mondays are always busy because the business has to resume all the backlog of things that they had paused for the weekend.
My business is informal and Mondays don't seem to be a difficult day. It used to be a serious day when I was working in an organization before.
