Never allow yourself to become a sentimentalist person easy to get by people like your customers. You may feel this way if see someone in a difficult situation and when you're convinced by their actions you may be trapped. The trap there is begging you to lend them money, buy on credit or extra bonus.

Never be a sentimental type, your business isn't for free, you built it with capital and struggles to make it grow. Limit your appearance with them.

Agreed. If you are emotionally charged person, you will not make a great business man. I don't mean you should be ruthless to become successful, what I mean is you need to think with mind and not with heart

It is not good to be 100 % sentimental because that is a bad weakness that may kill the business. The business owner must be firm. He must not mislead himself.

As a businessman, you must think rationally and don't let your emotion takes over when you are working on business deals. That does not mean that you should not be a compassionate person. You should be nice to customers but stay calm and alert when making business decisions.

That could surely happen if the business owner is a sentimental type. It is never good to manage a business if having weak emotions. The customers and the workers will be affected by the owner's mood.

Businesses do not run based on sentiments. If you approach business with sentiments, there is a high chance that you would fail in that business. It needs logic and proper thinking at all times.
