Indeed, there are lots of courses offered online. Some charge a fee and some are free of charge. I think what matters most is the quality of the course. Otherwise, you are wasting your time. Other than learning online, there are many institutes which offer offline courses.
Buying paid courses can be a disadvantage because they can be quite costly, and there is no assurance that the writer really is knowledgeable about the subject. Nowadays, it seems like anyone can just create a course.
Those free courses don't go as in depth and detailed as some paid courses. And that is from experience.
