Some time back I watched a movie where the main character went back in time, while in the past he was able to convince his father to invest in the movie Titanic. As we all know Titanic was a big hit back then. Though this was a movie but it got me thinking, is it possible for people to invest in movies, and how can one make an investment?

Well, this is not an easy question to answer. First of all, what does investing in a movie mean, that is, how is it possible in your opinion to invest in something that has already been produced and distributed by others?
You can register a production house or invest in a production house and get started with investing in movies. We don't have publicly traded movie company, if you have such companies, you can also invest through stock market.

Not sure though, but I doubt investment takes place after the movie has been produced and distributed. Am pretty sure it has to happen before they complete production and distribution.
Invest in movies can mean you invest in the production of movies or you just want to be a distributor of movies. Production of movies involves a lot of money. A friend of mine is in movie distribution business. That does not require a lot of money. But you need to have good connection in the movie industry and cinema owners.
