It's not necessary for a business owner to show up in front of the customers. I never see a single owner of big businesses in the city where I live. We also don't know the owner. We only know them through their family names when their business is named after their family name .

One reason for that is to protect themselves from kidnap for random.

I once worked as a manager on a store. Everyone thought I was the actual owner as the owner never showed up, he came very occasionally and only to sign checks.

That's also here in my place, we haven't seen the face of the business owners. I think they have a consensus agreement not to show up for protection of their lives.

People who own multiple businesses or the owners of big businesses cannot be present in person before the customers, they have a team to handle a lot of things. Unless you are running a small shop, you do not have to sell your products yourself.

That's right, the business owner has a complete set up of skilled office employees to manage the business and potential workers to do tasks of the business for customers. It's not necessary for the real owner to have f2f with the customers.

let me say if a customer lay complain and the issue can not be be resolved by workers the owner of that business have the right to appear to solve the issue it's what I have observed before

There is a personnel officer in charge of that. That office handles complaints and feedback. The owner will be informed and be given the data. The owner will call the attention of those workers involved

I believe it totally depends on the business owner if they want to be seen or not, and from what I have noticed, majority of business owners out there today prefer handling things behind the scene.

Unless you are talking about very small shop, business owner doesn't need to show up facing customers directly. S(he) may hire people to do the sales and customer service work.

There might be logical reasons why business owners do not like to get known or acknowledged by their customers. They might be protecting their lives from the bad elements that usually do kidnap for ransom.

In big business I never see that owner faced the customer, because customers do have their own tone and when they becomes angry then it remain very difficult to control them. But small business owner usually face their customers.

For me l can say that it's not a must for the business owners to appear before the workers or even the customers provided the management delegates the day to day running of the business as per the set rules and regulations.

l think we can consider the customers as the assets for the business. This is because the customers are the ones that brings in money in the business and the only source of the business income.

That is true, there is no need for the business owner to appear to his customers. The customers come and go and apart from that, they are there to buy and not to waste their time , the same way to the business owner.
