If you would like to get a partner for your business, make sure you share the same value and aspirations with him/her. Talk in detail about how to manage the company together. This may involve division of labor. Last but not least, sign a written agreement about your cooperation.

It depends on the person, the business operator if he wants a business partner. If the business is big, partners are necessary to have support financial and moral. It will be hard if manage the business alone despite having workers.
The few times I tried to enter partnership in my business, I got my hands burnt. I won't partner with anyone because I have my own business vision.
A business partner would bring more capital to your business. But it is only if you have a reasonable business partner.
The thing is that I would want a partnership with a legal framework and structure. Maybe equity financing would be my forte.
When you want to strike a business partnership, you have to be sure that you are on the same viewpoint so that it would work well.
