How do you quit your business

There are so many ways for one quitting their businesses. One can decide to sell the business, merging among other ways.
What do you have to say about that.

I had a business a long time ago it was a food truck and it wasn't very profitable so I got out of the business and it was easy because I made this decision before I would have suffered big losses. I was left with money but it was a good experience for me. I think that I would be able to create such a business again in the future, but taking into account my mistakes
