I know a few couples with the wife having a full-time job, the husband stays home and work as a freelancer. He is also responsible for household cores. I see no problem with this arrangement.

We have helped each other be it household chores or bringing in money to the household. My husband even ground the masala, washed vessels when the maid was on leave.
