Apart from having meals we use our dining table to just chat, do some writing work and dump anything and everything on it. It is a task to clear the table. I call it a work table rather than a dining table.

I eat on my dining table. In fact, it is a small table. I seldom eat in the kitchen partly because my kitchen is too small, and also because my TV is in front of the dining table. When I dine, I watch TV.
I do not have a proper dining table at my flat. Instead, I just got a small one for $10. I use it as my daily dining table.
Only on very rare occasions. That's because it is either I am eating and watching movies or something in that nature.
I don't have dining table. I have work table with computer, keyboard and monitor on it. There is no space for food and leftovers would end up in keyboard. I have small coffee table where I eat. It is not so good since it is very low. Size is good but sometimes I must sit on floor so I can normally eat.
