What do you do when your social media friend dies, do you remove from your friend list? Well, I remove those with whom I was not close and with whom I did not engage much, but if I was close and interacted frequently, I keep them on friend list.

I typically don't remove deceased friends from my social media connections right away. Keeping them on my lists initially feels like a way to honor their memory and our relationship. However, over time, seeing their inactive accounts can become a painful reminder of the loss. After a period of grieving, I may eventually choose to unfollow or remove them.
I have not removed some of my relatives that passed on from my Facebook friends list. I leave them there for memories.
If someone is not close to me, I will take them off my list. But if they are close to me, I will keep them on my list.
