For some people, the batteries of their laptops is weak and damaged. And they just use the laptop directly powering it through the wall sockets.

Is there any particular harm that can happen when you use a laptop without the battery?

If you are using your laptop without a battery, you can easily damage the operating system with not properly turning off the PC before taking out of power.

The moment the light goes of, the laptop would also go off. This means they won't be able to do any work unless there is a power supply.

And when that happens, your operating system can be badly affected because of improper shutting down of the laptop.
