It costs less to buy a car. But from an investment point of view, buying a house is a better choice. But you need to have much more money to buy a house.
While cars provide freedom and can be fun purchases for young people, houses are generally the wiser long-term investment. if housing costs are exorbitant compared to incomes, buying an affordable car first may be more realistic initially.
