Atleast in India there is no meal where there is no pickle. Pickles can be made from countless items and the process is easy.

One does not have to have their own store but after completing the required formalities there are grocery stores where it can be sold.

I sometimes do pickle green mangoes at home. I also use brine solution to pickle them.

If not in a big way it can be sold to friends neighbours and family Making pickle is not easy. Many do not have time. They will definitely go for home made pickle

Over here this is not common and not many people even make use of it, so i doubt it would be a good business over here.
